Food Donations

OSHaRE accepts Food Donations from 9:00am to 4:00pm – Monday to Friday at 946 3rd Ave. E. Owen Sound. Our Office and Delivery Door are located off of 3rd Avenue East, come into our office and someone will assist you.

Some of the food items that we could use are:

Large Tins of Creamed Soups: Chicken, Celery, Mushroom
Salad Dressing
Canned Pork & Beans
Canned, Fresh, or Frozen Vegetable
Cookies
School Snacks
Juice Boxes
Canned, Fresh, or Frozen Fruit
Pasta Sauce

To Donate

Donations can be made at our office at 946 3rd Ave. E. from 9am -4pm Monday to Friday. If you would like to give online you can give through Canada Helps using the links below. For more information please contact us.

OSHaRE would like to say a special Thank you to the Community Foundation of Grey Bruce and The Government of Canada for supporting us in 2020 with grants to help us to keep up with the increased demand for meals due to the pandemic. With their help we were able to purchase equipment to build our capacity, cover staffing to meet the increased workload, purchase food and takeout containers. Thank you so much for helping us to serve our community.

Thank you to the County of Grey for all their support through grants in 2020. Over the past 13 months we have served over 100,000 meals, and their support helped us to meet this need. They also helped to renovate our space so that guests can come in out of the winter weather or summer heat to get their meals and still be covid safe. Thank you for helping us to share!
